SMC, founded by the entrepreneur James Sene in fourth quarter 2007 in Barcelona (Spain), is a young technology and marketing driven company developing and marketing “Bettymovil”, a digital platform in order to provide simple and highly accessible ways to place a varied selection of micro-bets via mobile devices through simple SMS interactivity.

IMSC is the first company to offer a mobile betting product in the Mexican market and counts with over 10,000 pay-in and pay-out retail outlets, as well as 96% of national mobile network coverage.

“Mexico was always a priority market from the word go. The volume is there (with the 63 million adult owned mobile phones), the betting culture is also highly present and visible, and Mexico is a football-crazy nation. They are the perfect ingredients for an IMSC success story”, said James Sene, CEO of International Mobile Sportsbook Company.

“Bettymovil’s unique and proven gaming concepts rely on the idea that adults will responsibly use their mobiles to place micro-bets or alternative bids on a multitude of events, be they sports, lotteries, bingos or even social entertainment C2C games through the simplicity of an SMS”, he pointed.
