CE show is always an important highlight for TCS John Huxley, both to release new developments and to receive friends and costumers in your stand. What novelties did you decide to showcase this year at London event?
In addition to the full product portfolio, a whole host of new and exciting innovations were showcased at ICE, which included the world wide launch of EL illuminated playing surfaces – shown on Double Action Roulette and LuminAR, this illuminated playing surface uses an advanced Electroluminescent technology, a cold light source that is paper thin; Supernova Table Bonus system - a powerful progressive and game bonus system that drives increased revenues by adding higher levels of player excitement and loyalty to table games; AccuPLAY fully modular system - now includes Cashless Payment System, Virtual Shoe System - for RNG based automation, CITO System (Cash In Ticket Out), 3D Animation Pack and Additional Live Table Game Packs, making it perfect for all types of casino and electronic arcade operations; Gaming Floor Live, a new Real-Time Roulette game optimisation tool designed to maximise  key performance areas and profitability and a new range of eye-catching, high quality LCD Table Limit Signs that deliver promotional messages and will enhance any casino floor.

How did you see the show? Was it in line with your expectations?
ICE has always been an important event for TCS John Huxley, as it’s the show with the largest audience of international visitors and historically attended by serious buyers. This year’s event lived up to expectations, with many remarking that the first day of the show was one of the busiest anyone could remember.

Which of the novelties introduced by TCS John Huxley in London generated more expectation among visitors or clients?
There was much interest in our new EL illuminated playing surface product for Double Action Roulette and LuminAR.  This Electroluminescent technology is not only eye catching and visually stimulating for players, illustrating all winning numbers and sections, its a cold light source that is paper thin allowing it to be installed or retrofitted directly under our KRE8 synthetic table layouts on any traditional Roulette table without any table modification.

There were also back-to-back demonstrations of the Gaming Floor Live system. Customers understood the benefits of being able to close the information loop for the first time, bringing a whole new prospective to managing live Roulette tables.  With its easy to use dash board approach, operators could clearly see how risk can be managed and performance greatly improved.

The company has been awarded as the "Best Traditional Casino Equipment Supplier 2011". What does such a distinction represent for the firm?
This was the third consecutive year we have won the Award of Best Traditional Casino Equipment Supplier 2011.  This means a lot to us especially as we are judged by our peers - leading gaming industry professionals, gaming journalists and gaming-industry analysts from around the World - against all the major suppliers in our sector. We strive to keep our standards consistently high, so it is always nice to be acknowledged in such a way.

Which are the plans of TCS John Huxley for this 2011 in terms of new technologies to explore?
Our hybrid gaming products continue to be a main focus for development as they provide operators with maximum efficiency and security, whilst creating excitement for players keeping them at the tables for longer. We also realise the importance of developing products such as Gaming Floor Live, which is a Real-Time game optimisation tool designed to maximise key performance areas and profitability. Developments for 2011 will see this product rolled out to cover more games on the casino floor.
