These casinos truly shined in October. A year after the abolishing of loss limits, revenue in the casinos has increased. According to the report from the Missouri Gaming Commission, revenue from the local casinos had breached the us$ 87 million mark, a sharp 10 % increase from October of 2008's us$ 79.7 million.

Though Pinnacle Entertainment has recently undergone changes in the upper echelon of their management, revenues in the Pinnacle casinos has remained fairly stable. Pinnacle's Lumiere Place had a 41 % increase from us$ 12.7 to us$ 17.9 million. Half of the six casinos showed improvements, while the remaining had dropped. President Casino, Argosy Alton, and Casino Queen have all had drops in their revenue, though those casinos that had improved had improved by a vast margin.

Land based casinos may show a further increase in revenue if the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act actually has an effect on online gambling. Though it is doubtful that the Legal USA Online Casinos will change their status or lose their ability to provide players with the highest quality of gaming, some players may flock to land based casinos on general principle.
