The lawsuit alleges that defendant’s metal comfort base and wood comfort base, which is being actively marketed and offered for sale to casinos, infringes two of six United States patents for slot bases held by AC Coin & Slot and TC Millwork.

The lawsuit further alleges that the infringement has been carried out with full knowledge of AC Coin & Slot and TC Millwork’s patents. In this regard, AC Coin & Slot and TC Millwork’s lawsuit requests a court declaration of direct and willful infringement, a permanent injunction, monetary damages and attorneys’ fees.

"We work very hard to create innovation in the gaming industry and our patents serve to protect the integrity of our inventions," says Jerry Seelig, EVP and General Manager. "We are committed to bringing unique offerings to our customers to assist them in creating world class casinos, and we owe it to them to ensure that our innovations are not compromised."
