According to the report that the company sent to the National Commission of the Shareholder Market (CNMV), this shares represent approximately the 10% of the activities of the group in Mexico and belonged to Fernando Martín Laborda.
The group announced, before it started quoting in the market last October 19th, that it would allocate the resources it would obtain from that, to its international expansion, specially to finance its acquisitions in Mexico, instead of reducing the debt.
Codere will finance the acquisition of the 49% of CIE-Las Américas, for more than 100 million euros, and the acquisition of the 10% share in Codere Mexico from Fernando Martín Laborda, formalized Thursday.
