Interview to Linda Monoón, Boss Gaming executive

Boss Gaming bets to grow in the Peruvian market

(Peru).- A few days before the beginning of Peru Gaming Show, to be held in Lima on August 8-10, Linda Monzon, Boss Gaming executive, talked to Yogonet.com about the products the firm will be presenting and the expectations it has for this new edition of the event.

hat will Boss Gaming present in Peru Gaming Show?

We will be presenting our electro-mechanical roulette BOSS GAMING R09 and slot machines of Merkur Gaming of German Gauselmann Group, with whom we have established an excellent relationship. We have big plans for Peru. There is an interest, a demand an an expectation on our products.

What expectations do you have for 2007 edition?

In this edition we expect to share experiences with local operators, re-establish the relationship and, of course, to increase our sales. Trade events are a very efficient way to get to know the national demand, in order to understand the current situation of the industries.

We believe that it is important to invest and visit the operators in their own countries.

In order to win a client, you have to know how to contact him. We must not forget that we are guests. In all the the time we have been in the industry, we have acknowledged that the fatal error is usually to underestimate our Latin America.

What made you participate in the event?

Because of the demand of our product, which is an excellent roulette. Several businessmen insisted us in this participation. Peru is passing through a stage of stabilization of gaming and we think it is neccesary to support these initiatives; to share with the industry in its ups and downs. Only participating in these events we may bring something new or the back-up that our industry needs.

How is the company positioned in the Andean region and in Peru, particulary?

We are just beginning in Peru. We are in a stage when you meet a client and learn which are his needs. We are consolidating our position in the Andean Region. We focus in a product and intend to improve it, bringing the best from us, adapting our product for that specific market. This is what we have achieved, for example, in Colombia, where we have been for a year and where we have gained the trust and respect of the operators.

Which is the balance you make of the first half of the year and which plans do you have for the rest of 2007?

Boss Gaming has had a very productive year. We have complied with the goals established. As everyone, we have found several obstacles which have taught us several lessons, and we are sure we have learnt something. For the second semestre, Boss Gaming has a full schedule, excellent production plans, participation in trade events, release of new products...But I think we should leave some information to tell you in future interviews...Without mystery there is no magic.
