Digitain appoints Dario Jurčić as Chief Commercial Officer for Europe and Africa

Digitain has appointed Dario Jurčić as Chief Commercial Officer for Europe and Africa, adding an executive with more than a decade of leadership experience in commercial strategy, platform development, market expansion, and business transformation.

Jurčić joins the sportsbook and iGaming technology provider after leading a number of growth-focused organizations during his career. In 2025, he was recognized by industry peers as one of Central and Eastern Europe's leading CEOs.

Commercial oversight across multiple regions

In his new role, Jurčić will direct Digitain's commercial strategy across Europe and Africa. His responsibilities include supporting the company's activities in regulated European markets and its expansion efforts across Africa.

He will also oversee commercial operations from Digitain's hubs in Malta, Romania, and the United Kingdom, as well as preparations for a planned office in Central Europe.

The company said this structure aligns with its activities in regulated jurisdictions, including the UK, where Digitain obtained a UK Gambling Commission betting license and secured sportsbook and platform certification in February 2026.

Expansion plans in regulated markets

Digitain said the appointment forms part of its efforts to expand its leadership team in European regulated markets. Alongside its existing commercial centers in Malta, Romania and the UK, the company plans to open a new Central European office as it continues to pursue operator partnerships across the region.
