Boomerang Partners has launched the second stage of its Golden Boomerang Awards 2026 affiliate tournament, introducing new scoring mechanics and incentives as major sporting events including the FIFA World Cup and Wimbledon Championships drive audience engagement during the summer.

The Second Half of the annual competition runs from June 10 to July 19 and follows the conclusion of the opening stage, whose winner will attend the Wimbledon Championships, scheduled from June 29 to July 12, as the main prize.

The affiliate marketing tournament is being held during one of the busiest periods in the global sports calendar, with the FIFA World Cup and Wimbledon expected to generate heightened traffic and betting activity throughout June and July.

As part of the new phase, Boomerang Partners has increased the value of sports-related first-time deposits (FTDs), with each Sport FTD now worth three points, up from two points previously.

The updated scoring system is designed to reward affiliates that maintain activity throughout the competition and capitalize on periods of increased sports engagement.

The Second Half also introduces a WELCOME BOOST mechanism, under which participants joining the tournament during the first 14 days of the stage will receive double points until the promotional period ends.

The initiative is intended to help new entrants narrow the gap with existing leaders and keep the competition open as the tournament progresses.

The company will also continue its Mystery Box reward series, with Mystery Box #2 set to be awarded to nine randomly selected active participants during the current stage.

The main prize for the Second Half will be a private dinner with an AC Milan legend in August 2026, extending Boomerang Partners' partnership with AC Milan, where the company serves as an official regional partner.

"Closing the first stage doesn't mean the main race is decided," Kristina Shkredova, affiliate team lead at Boomerang Partners, said.

"The Second Half changes the tournament's pace completely: Sport FTDs are now worth more, the sports calendar becomes even more intense, and teams still have enough space to move up quickly."

"We’ve already seen how competitive this season has become, but summer is where the pressure really starts. For some teams, this will be the moment to defend their position. For others, it’s the best chance to break into the fight,” Shkredova added.

The Golden Boomerang Awards 2026 season is being held under the theme Beyond the Moment, which emphasizes sustained performance throughout the competition rather than rewarding only a strong start.

Current standings, tournament updates and registration details remain available through the tournament's official website.
