iGaming technology provider SOFTSWISS is set to host a dedicated sports betting strategy track at the BiS SiGMA South America Summit in São Paulo, as Brazil’s newly regulated betting market gains momentum ahead of major global sporting events.
The company will lead an expert session titled SOFTSWISS Track: Sports Betting Strategy, Integrity & Speed on April 7, held on the ITAIM Stage from 14:15 to 16:55, bringing together regulators, legal experts, and industry executives.
The event comes as Brazil’s betting sector prepares for increased global attention ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, with discussions expected to focus on regulatory frameworks, market growth, and operational integrity.
The programme will open with a fireside chat featuring Plínio Lemos Jorge, president of the National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL), and Carla Dualib, SOFTSWISS Regional Business Development Manager (Latin America), who also serves as Communication Director at the association. The session will address the rapid expansion of Brazil’s betting market and the responsibilities tied to its scale.
Subsequent panels will explore key themes including fan engagement, market integrity, and technological innovation. One session, "The Fan Economy", will examine how sports clubs and operators can turn fan engagement into a strategic asset through responsible practices, while another one, "Integrity on the Field", will focus on safeguarding the betting ecosystem and maintaining the integrity of football amid rising wagering volumes.
The final session, "Beyond the Screen", features Dario Leiman, Head of Business Development (Latin America) at SOFTSWISS, and Natalia Nogues, CEO of ControlF5, who will discuss how technology and multi-platform experiences are shaping player engagement and responsible gaming during major events.
“We aren’t just hosting a session; we are consolidating the brightest minds in the industry to set the gold standard for Brazil,” Dualib said. “In my dual role at SOFTSWISS and ANJL, my mission is to foster a unified voice between technology, regulation, and sport.”
“This track is an open invitation for everyone – operators, authorities, and clubs – to move past generic discussions and commit to the hard strategies of integrity and speed that will protect our market’s future,” she added.
Attendees will also be able to explore SOFTSWISS products at booths M80 & M85, including its casino platform, game aggregator, and sportsbook, which have received Brazilian regulatory certification and are designed to support compliant market entry.
