Soft2Bet has launched Lodur, a new Swedish casino and sportsbook brand built around Norse mythology and localized player preferences.
The platform introduces a progression-based Island system that extends beyond individual gaming sessions. Through social casino gameplay, users collect resources that can be used to construct and upgrade buildings within a virtual island settlement.
Each development unlocks further stages of progression, linking casino and sports betting activity to an ongoing advancement structure. Competitive interaction is embedded through a PvP simulation, allowing players to attack rival islands, defend their own settlements, and adjust strategies as they grow.
The system does not operate with a fixed endpoint, instead encouraging continuous building, raiding, and upgrading within a recurring gameplay loop.
Lodur operates on MEGA, Soft2Bet’s Motivational Engineering Gaming Application, which integrates missions, challenges, and narrative-driven journeys into both sportsbook and casino environments.
Yoel Zuckerberg, Chief Product Officer at Soft2Bet, stated: “Lodur shows what our product toolkit can do when Soft2Bet’s MEGA is applied to social mechanics and PvP progression. We have built a journey that keeps players building, competing and returning to Lodur, without adding friction to the core experience.”
The brand has been designed with Swedish-facing elements across payments and content. Lodur incorporates local payment methods, prioritizes sports events followed closely by Swedish audiences, and offers localized Live Slots adapted for desktop and mobile.
Inspired by Vikings, fjords, and Norse legend, the brand combines thematic design with a locally tuned user journey.
