The FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Michigan, has opened The Embers Bar, a new upscale lounge located at the casino lobby entrance. The space, previously the Kabaret Lounge, now offers cocktails, wine, and beer in a modern, inviting setting.
The bar features a circular layout, polished metal accents, and dynamic lighting, creating a warm, social atmosphere. A sculptural centerpiece with bronze elements and LED lighting serves as a focal point, while suspended resin droplets add depth and texture. The bar’s name pays tribute to FireKeepers’ signature flame while offering a welcoming space that balances luxury with comfort.
The concept, inspired by fire as a natural gathering place, avoids literal flame imagery, instead emphasizing warmth, energy, and movement.
“The Embers Bar represents our continued commitment to enhancing every part of the guest experience,” said Michael Hamilton, VP of Food & Beverage at FireKeepers Casino Hotel. “We wanted to create a space that feels both energizing and comfortable, where guests can unwind with a drink, celebrate with friends, or simply take in the lively atmosphere that makes FireKeepers so special.”
Key partners in the development of The Embers Bar included Cuningham Group Architecture, responsible for the vision and design, and Moore Trosper Construction, a longtime FireKeepers partner.
