Princess Cruises' Crown Princess returns to service with redesigned Gatsby's Casino

Princess Cruises’ Crown Princess has resumed service following a drydock in Singapore, adding new venues and refreshed public spaces. The 113,561-ton ship, which accommodates 3,080 guests, now features a redesigned Gatsby’s Casino, along with the O’Malley’s Irish Pub, and a new EFFY Lounge.

The ship's casino has been rebranded as Gatsby’s Casino, with blackjack, roulette, and slot machines, along with a redesigned bar, upgraded gaming equipment, and an updated cashier area.

Meanwhile, O’Malley’s Irish Pub has replaced the former Wheelhouse Bar, introducing Princess Cruises’ Irish pub concept to Crown Princess. The venue offers classic comfort food such as burgers, fish and chips, and late-night bites, along with beer and whiskey flights and live music. The pub seats 134 guests, including 12 at the bar.

An EFFY Lounge and High-End Vault has also been added in the former internet café space, showcasing jewelry from New York City–based brand Effy.

Lorna Warren, Princess Cruises’ Vice President of Hotel Operations and Guest Experience, said the latest drydock enhancements reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to modernizing the onboard experience.

Crown Princess arrived in Sydney on Jan. 4, 2026, and will sail Australia itineraries through May 2026 before departing on a 114-day World Cruise on May 10, returning to Sydney.
