Product development, regulatory progress, and entry into new verticals guided PrizePicks’ activity throughout 2025. During the year, the company advanced its offerings across daily fantasy sports and prediction markets while increasing its reach across regulated US jurisdictions.
In an exclusive year-end interview with Yogonet, Dylan Cooper, Senior Vice President of Product at PrizePicks, reviews the company’s performance during 2025, discusses the industry topics that shaped the year, and outlines expectations heading into 2026.
Looking back at 2025, how would you assess the year for the company? What are some of the major takeaways, highlights, achievements, or lessons learned over the past year?
2025 was a landmark year for PrizePicks. Over the past year, we have made huge strides in evolving our product offering through innovation and growing our player base through increased brand exposure and regulatory milestones.
Most recently, we launched Team and Culture Picks, marking our entrance into the prediction markets space, where customers can make predictions on outcomes across sports, entertainment, and pop culture. We now have the most diverse and expansive product suite since PrizePicks was founded, with more to come in 2026.
Which issues and trends would you say dominated the conversation this year? Are there specific trends, markets, or technologies that you believe will drive change in 2026?
Prediction markets were, of course, the main topic in gaming this year and will continue to trend that way in 2026. We’re proud to enter the space with a unique product offering and to have become the first sports entertainment operator to earn Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) licensure from the National Futures Association.
We are still in the early stages of prediction markets, and there will undoubtedly be new entrants, major partnerships, and continued product development to push the industry forward in the coming year.
What can we expect from PrizePicks in 2026? What are the main challenges and opportunities you see in the gaming industry in the coming 12 months?
As we move into 2026, delivering the most innovative and engaging products for our players will be our main objective. Having established our prediction markets offering in 2025, we’ll be able to iterate and create a best-in-class product experience for our customers.
Our DFS games will be no different. This year, we introduced new social functionalities to engage our players even further, and you will continue to see cutting-edge product features like this in 2026.
2025 was a defining year for PrizePicks, marked by major regulatory milestones and product innovation. How do these achievements shape your vision for the company’s future, and what role do you see PrizePicks playing in the broader evolution of regulated, skill-based fantasy and prediction markets in the U.S.?
Throughout our history, we have strived to be the industry leader in DFS, and now prediction markets, by delivering the best games and creating the most engaging community for PrizePicks players.
Heading into 2026, PrizePicks is available to customers in all 50 states, marking a major milestone for our company and a testament to our continued focus on innovation and regulatory compliance. Moving forward, we will continue to be the industry’s leader by maintaining our mission to avoid complacency by developing the best new products and features for our customers.
