Durango Casino & Resort opened its new high-limit slot room and a multi-level parking garage Monday afternoon, marking the completion of the first phase of the southwest Las Vegas resort’s expansion.
The high-limit slot room opens at 5 p.m. The space spans more than 8,000 square feet of gaming and lounge area and features 120 high-limit slot machines, including 30 new titles. The room also includes a 16-seat bar with multi-game bar-top machines.
“We are incredibly proud to unveil the first phase of Durango’s expansion, including one of the city’s nicest high-limit slot rooms,” said David Horn, vice president and general manager of Durango Casino & Resort. “With the addition of more of the latest and most relevant games on the casino floor, easy and free parking and high-touch service in our high-limit room, we continue to offer our guests an exciting, convenient gaming experience.”

The room includes Dragon Link machines with Station Casinos’ linked progressive jackpots ranging from $50,000 to $1 million. New games include Arctic Express, Super Hot Flaming Pots and Wolf Run Wild Moon.
Amenities in the high-limit area include dedicated guest service attendants, a full-time hospitality butler, two private restrooms and a high-limit cage. Players will also have access to MyPay, a digital payout system designed to speed up transactions.
The bar offers wine, champagne, cocktails, premium spirits and a 24-hour coffee and tea program. A covered patio includes seating, sports viewing and cigar smoking areas.

The parking garage also adds nearly 2,000 spaces with free self-parking and valet options. It connects directly to the casino and uses green lighting to indicate open spaces. Covered VIP Chairman parking is also available.
To mark the opening, the resort handed out scratch cards to the first 100 guests on Monday evening, with prizes including dining credits, free slot play, VIP parking passes and a $500 grand prize.
The casino floor expansion, which opened Nov. 7, added more than 6,000 square feet of gaming space and introduced more than 100 new games and machines.
Durango Casino & Resort began operations in 2023. Station Casinos has since announced plans for a separate north-side expansion that would add approximately 275,000 square feet of new gaming, dining and recreational amenities.
