ReferOn has launched Personal Access Tokens (PATs), a new way for operators, affiliates, and technical teams to access the platform’s API faster, safer, and with less complexity.
Previously, API access required multi-step legacy authentication. Now, users can generate a token directly from their ReferOn profile and start using the API immediately, without extra configuration.
Personal Access Tokens make API integration faster, simpler, and safer, the company said. Tokens are generated within seconds, eliminating delays in setup. The authentication process is straightforward, with no multi-step flows required, allowing users to access the API immediately.
At the same time, PATs provide enhanced security through user-level controls, including configurable expiration and the ability to revoke access instantly.

All ReferOn API endpoints are now served under a single domain (api.referon.com), improving predictability, automation, and scalability—especially for high-growth affiliate operations.
Affiliate programs are growing, handling more data, partners, and workflows. PATs remove friction from API authentication, speeding up setup, automating repetitive tasks, and reducing reliance on outdated systems. By removing unnecessary complexity, PATs allow teams to focus on growth instead of technical hurdles.
Vlad Bondarenko, Head of Product, said: “Every feature we ship follows the same core principle: remove friction and give teams more control. PATs do exactly that by replacing the old authentication flow with a single, predictable token, making automation easier and helping affiliate programs scale without extra operational load.”
