North Carolina's Catawba Two Kings Casino has taken a new step in its digital outreach by rolling out a free-to-play social casino developed in partnership with Ruby Seven Studios. The platform, branded Catawba Two Kings Slots, is now live online and through mobile app stores, offering players access to more than 100 slot titles.

The initiative is aimed at reinforcing the casino’s connection with patrons, particularly members of its Lucky North Rewards program, while also introducing the brand to new audiences beyond Kings Mountain. According to the Catawba Nation Gaming Authority, the launch comes at a key moment as the tribe prepares for major operational changes next year.

Catawba Two Kings Slots offers players the opportunity for hours of entertainment while staying engaged with the popular casino when they are off property,” said Trent Troxel, vice president of the Catawba Nation Gaming Authority.

He added that the product supports the ongoing transition to the tribe’s permanent $1 billion casino resort, which is now under construction adjacent to the temporary venue. “Working with Ruby Seven Studios as part of our growth strategy has allowed us to create a free-to-play online gaming experience for our existing players and to attract new ones,” he said.

Ruby Seven Studios, an award-winning social casino developer owned by Delaware North, has established partnerships with several U.S. casino operators. Delaware North also serves as lead consultant and developer for the forthcoming resort.

Ruby Seven Studios is proud to add the Catawba Two Kings Casino, which promises to become one of the top gaming destinations in the Southeast, to our growing portfolio of leading casino partners leveraging our social casino development and operational expertise,” said Rory Shanahan, the company’s general manager.

The digital gaming platform replicates many of the slot titles available at the temporary property, including games from Aruze, AGS, Everi, IGT, and Konami. It is billed as solely for recreational play, with no real-money winnings, though players may purchase optional features within the app.

Catawba Two Kings Casino currently operates near Interstate 85 with more than 1,100 gaming machines, electronic table games, 14 live table games, North Carolina’s closest sportsbook to Charlotte, and several dining options.

Its permanent resort is expected to open in phases beginning in spring 2026, eventually expanding to 4,300 slot machines, 100 table games, 11 dining outlets, 11 bars, and a 385-room hotel. The project is projected to support 2,000 long-term jobs, alongside hundreds tied to construction.
