Stake expanded its involvement in global esports through a new Tier 1 Anti-Corruption Partner agreement with the Esports Integrity Commission, aligning the operator’s large-scale wagering operations with ESIC’s integrity monitoring program.

Under the agreement, Stake becomes part of ESIC’s Anti-Corruption Supporter program, a network that supplies data, operational cooperation, and access to wagering information used to review and assess suspicious betting activity. The program is designed to help the Commission detect and analyze potential integrity issues in real time.

Stake’s participation adds one of the industry’s highest-volume betting platforms to the monitoring network. The operator reports more than 80 million monthly visits and over 100 billion bets a year. Founded in 2017, Stake operates a global online casino and sportsbook and engages in both crypto-based wagering and regulated local-currency markets, including Italy, Denmark, and multiple Latin American jurisdictions.

Jarrod Febbraio, Director of Stake, described the agreement as a formal commitment to integrity within esports.

This partnership formalizes Stake's commitment to protecting integrity and transparency across the global esports ecosystem. As the world's leading online-first betting operator, supporting the industry is central to our strategy, and our scale makes this collaboration with ESIC essential to safeguarding its integrity. Together, we're ensuring the ecosystem remains fair, transparent, and trusted by fans and participants worldwide," said Febbraio.

Meanwhile, ESIC CEO Stephen Hanna noted the role of operators in the Commission’s information-sharing network. "The addition of Stake to ESIC's Anti-Corruption Supporter network reinforces the sentiment that integrity is a shared responsibility. ESIC's Anti-Corruption Supporter program relies on the active collaboration of partners like Stake, whose operational insights contribute directly to our ability to identify and mitigate integrity threats. Together, we are building a stronger foundation of trust and accountability that supports the sustainable growth of esports worldwide," said Hanna.

ESIC positions itself as the integrity body for competitive gaming, with responsibilities that include preventing, investigating, and responding to match-fixing, cheating, doping, and other forms of misconduct. Its work involves coordination with publishers, tournament operators, and industry stakeholders to maintain unified competition standards and ensure a consistent integrity framework across esports.

The organization’s stated objectives include protecting youth involvement, supporting industry investment, and maintaining fair play within the global esports sector.

The partnership places Stake within the group of entities providing information used by ESIC to monitor esports wagering and review irregularities across competitive events.
