Disney, Formula 1 to kick off global partnership at Las Vegas Grand Prix

Disney and Formula 1's new global collaboration will launch at the Las Vegas Grand Prix this November, with a series of live entertainment moments and merchandise aimed at blending motorsport with Disney’s storytelling heritage.

The partnership, announced in May, is part of a campaign called “Fuel the Magic” that aims to “deliver unforgettable fan experiences, exclusive content and elevated products” across future race weekends.

As racing begins on the Las Vegas Strip, Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto will appear at fan events. A special performance featuring Mickey Mouse will take place in front of the Fountains of Bellagio, featuring music and pyrotechnics produced by Disney Live Entertainment.

On race day, the Disneyland Band will perform the national anthem “in celebration of 70 years of happiness.” Mickey and Minnie will also participate in a community day intended to inspire local children in Las Vegas.

Ahead of qualifying, Formula 1 will include Mickey & Friends in a pitlane walk and will offer selected main grandstand ticket holders access to see teams preparing cars before racing action begins.

“As we look ahead to the global Disney's Mickey & Friends and Formula 1® launch in 2026, the Fuel the Magic program will bring two iconic brands together to give fans of all ages a race weekend filled with creativity, entertainment, and a touch of magic,” she said.

Alongside the launch, a Disney x Formula 1 merchandise collection will debut in early November. It combines Mickey & Friends character designs with the visual style of Formula 1 and the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Items will be available to purchase from Nov. 8 at the F1 Las Vegas Hub inside the Venetian Resort and through DisneyStore.com in North America.

The collaboration will extend to digital experiences and exclusive behind-the-scenes content, connecting remote viewers to race weekends. U.S. fans will be able to watch race day on Nov. 22, 2025, on ESPN or through the ESPN App, while international audiences will be able to tune in through their local F1 broadcasters.

The “Fuel the Magic” campaign will continue through the 2026 and 2027 Formula 1 seasons as the organisations expand joint fan engagement efforts.
