Golden Entertainment's PT's Taverns group has introduced a new multi-location keno program, connecting more than 820 video poker and keno machines across 65 Southern Nevada taverns.
The Giant Keno Progressive, which began rolling out this week, offers what the company describes as the largest keno progressive jackpot available in a Nevada tavern setting.
The inaugural 10-spot Giant Keno Progressive jackpot starts at $100,000 and can reach a maximum payout of $200,000. Once that amount is reached and won, the jackpot resets to $10,000 and begins growing again. The program is the first of its kind among Nevada tavern operators.
“PT’s Taverns has always been at the forefront of creating the best locals’ tavern experience and the Giant Keno Progressive is our biggest step yet,” said Blake Sartini II, Chief Operating Officer for Golden Entertainment. “With jackpots that can reach $200,000, we’re offering the largest keno progressive jackpot ever introduced in a Nevada tavern setting. It’s an exciting milestone for PT’s Taverns and for our guests, who can now find this Strip-level progressive action right in their neighborhood.”
Players can participate by wagering at least $1 on a 10-spot game using marked bartop gaming machines at any PT’s Tavern location, which includes PT’s Pub, Sierra Junction, PT’s Place, PT’s Ranch, Lucky’s, Great American Pub, Sean Patrick’s, PT’s Gold, Sierra Gold, and SG Bar.
The Giant Keno Progressive is currently active in 50 locations and will reach all 65 taverns by November 1. The rollout connects the largest number of video poker and keno machines ever linked in a restricted gaming environment in Nevada, totaling more than 820 devices throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
“Our Giant Keno Progressive and expanded lineup of linked progressives are designed to transform tavern gaming,” said Dan Groesbeck, Vice President of Nevada Distributed Gaming for Golden Entertainment. “More locations mean more games, faster-growing jackpots, and more winners. This rollout represents a major evolution in how progressives can create excitement and community in a tavern setting.”
Alongside the Giant Keno Progressive, PT’s Taverns has expanded its range of linked jackpots across both keno and video poker machines.
For video poker, royal flush progressives begin at $1,000 on quarter machines and $4,000 on dollar machines, with jackpots linked across select tavern groups.
Golden Entertainment, which also owns The Strat hotel-casino and operates more than 70 taverns statewide, manages all rewards through its loyalty program, True Rewards. The company said the Giant Keno Progressive program is intended to provide consistent opportunities for players as jackpots build and reset across its Nevada tavern network.
