Konami Gaming, Inc. is spotlighting its in-house leadership as Senior Director of Marketing and Communications Tashina Lazcano has been named to the 2025 “Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40.” Lazcano, a seasoned executive, has helped shape the company’s global marketing strategy since joining in 2014.
The program, organized by Global Gaming Business magazine and The Innovation Group, recognizes young professionals making an impact on the casino gaming industry.
Lazcano joined Konami in 2014 and directs the company’s in-house creative team. Her responsibilities span strategic campaigns, email marketing, advertising, social media, website management, video production, and public relations. She has worked in integrated marketing, advertising, and public relations for nearly 15 years, covering industries including gaming entertainment, technology, and fine arts.
Konami executives credited her contributions to the company’s growth. “Tashina Lazcano has demonstrated a clear and consistent commitment to innovating the gaming space using new media, fresh creativity, and strong partnership, with outstanding results,” said Tom Jingoli, President and Chief Operating Officer at Konami Gaming, Inc. “Further, she is personally invested in growing the industry’s resilience, diversification, and long-term health through her service to Global Gaming Women.”
“The scope of Tashina Lazcano’s strategic leadership has long been seen on a global industry scale, which I expect will only continue. Induction into the Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40 is further testament to her achievements and dedication to the future of gaming,” said John Eary, Vice President of Marketing at Konami.
In addition to her position at Konami, Lazcano is active in industry organizations. Since 2017, she has served Global Gaming Women (GGW) as Vice President of Marketing, Board of Directors member, Executive Committee member, and Marketing Committee Co-Chair. GGW is a nonprofit that promotes professional development and education opportunities for women across the sector.
Her work in the industry has been recognized through multiple awards. She has been named one of Global Gaming Business magazine’s “5 Women Who Shine,” one of CDC Gaming’s “10 Women Rising in Gaming,” and a Patty Becker “Pay It Forward” Awards honoree by GGW.
Lazcano will be honored at the 2025 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas on October 8, where the latest group of “Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40” will be recognized. She will also be featured in an upcoming edition of Global Gaming Business magazine.
