iGaming and sports betting operator BetMGM has become the presenting sponsor of Playmaker HQ’s “Roommates Show”, hosted by New York Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.

The partnership also launches a new series, “No Limit,” featuring former NBA player Iman Shumpert under Playmaker HQ’s casino content brand, All In, with BetMGM also serving as presenting sponsor.

“Roommates Show” is a weekly video podcast with Brunson, Hart, and their college roommate Matt Hillman. The current season, which began on 6 September, kicked off with the Roommates Show Block Party in Central Park, drawing thousands of fans and celebrities, including Ben Stiller and Eli Manning. BetMGM branding will appear throughout the season with integrated ads and promotions.

“No Limit” features 12 episodes filmed at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

In the Double Down segment, guests pause their blackjack hands to reflect on past statements, interviews, or “hot takes,” and decide whether to double down or walk it back. In Aces Only, activated when a BetMGM-branded ace is drawn, the segment highlights career achievements, legendary plays, and notable collaborations.

"Our shows have always thrived because they're hosted by dynamic athletes who bring authenticity and energy to every episode," said Matt Schwimmer, CEO of Playmaker HQ. "'No Limit' is the next step in our evolution as we expand into casino content with the All In brand. It combines entertainment, personality, and unfiltered conversation in a way that truly connects with fans.”

This content partnership with Playmaker HQ reflects BetMGM’s focus on talent-led-media. ‘Roommates Show’ blends sports, entertainment and culture in an authentic way that connects with a wide range of sports fans,” said Casey Hurbis, Chief Marketing Officer, BetMGM. “Blackjack is a forever favorite of players and ‘No Limit’ brings athletes to the table with a side of storytelling."

Shumpert, a 10-season NBA veteran and 2015 NBA champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers, also won Season 30 of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2021, becoming the first NBA player to earn the title.
