iGaming technology provider SOFTSWISS will bring Formula One flair to the SBC Summit 2025 in Lisbon by staging a remote-controlled car race on a true-to-scale replica of the Estoril circuit with former F1 driver Rubens Barrichello.
The event will begin on Tuesday, September 16, at 10:00 with an opening race at Space EN08. The Estoril track replica will remain open throughout the day for drop-in challenges and networking.
A highlight race will feature Barrichello, who serves as SOFTSWISS’s non-executive director for Latin America, alongside Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC, and Ivan Montik, founder of SOFTSWISS. Delegates will then be invited to try the remote-controlled cars on the same layout.
Beyond the track, Barrichello and Montik are scheduled to appear together on the Super Stage for a fireside chat titled Excellence Under Pressure: Evolving in a Fast-Moving Space. The discussion will explore the parallels between motorsport and iGaming, with Barrichello drawing on Formula One’s rapid technological changes and Montik highlighting SOFTSWISS’s approach to agility, compliance and innovation.
SOFTSWISS, which has more than 15 years’ experience in the sector, will also showcase its product ecosystem and meet partners at Stand B160 during the event.
