Betr has launched Betr Arcade, a real-money, peer-to-peer, skill-based game. The product has gone live in 29 states, extending the company’s real-money gaming presence in markets including California, Florida, and Texas, where online casino play is not permitted.
The skill-based platform operates within the Betr Picks app, which is active in 32 states, with 15 offering only peer-to-peer contests to comply with state law.
Betr Arcade debuted with four peer-to-peer titles: 21, Fruit Match, Crossout 21, and 5 Across. Each game features a minimum bet of $1.25. To accommodate new users, a practice mode is available before entering real-money contests.
Unlike house-based casino games, Betr Arcade allows players to compete directly against each other. This structure enables real-money play in jurisdictions where online casino gambling has not been legalized. Online casinos are currently legal in just seven US states.
Betr has not yet released the full list of states where Arcade is available. However, the company’s Betr Picks app operates in 32 jurisdictions.
Today @betr launched Betr Arcade, our skill games product live in 29 states. We plan on releasing several new games over the coming weeks and months, and we also plan on launching multiple additional new gaming verticals within our single Betr app over the next few months. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/LeqoDGtP1B

In California, casino-style gambling is limited to Native tribes, and online casino play is not legalized. The California Attorney General has also scrutinized “pick ’em” fantasy contests offered by operators.
In Florida, the Seminole Tribe has exclusive gambling rights. Earlier this year, the Florida Gaming Control Commission issued cease-and-desist orders to Betr, PrizePicks, and Underdog Fantasy to halt against-the-house “pick ’em” games. Betr subsequently launched its peer-to-peer version of Picks in the state.
Commercial gambling is prohibited in Texas, but Betr Picks operates there under its peer-to-peer format. Separately, Betr Sportsbook is live in Ohio and Virginia.
Betr CEO Joey Levy announced the Arcade launch on social media, sharing a video of co-founder Jake Paul playing 21. Levy wrote: “Today Betr launched Betr Arcade, our skill games product, live in 29 states.
"We plan on releasing several new games over the coming weeks and months, and we also plan on launching multiple additional new gaming verticals within our single Betr app over the next few months. Lots more to come and announce — really proud of the Betr team for all of the hard work that went into this and the upcoming launches.”
