The AGEM & AGA Golf Classic Presented by JCM Global has passed a fundraising milestone this year, with total contributions since the event’s inception in 1999 now exceeding $3 million.
The 26th edition of the tournament raised $180,000 to support the International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG), which conducts research into gambling disorders and responsible gaming practices.
The annual event was established to directly benefit the ICRG’s mission of advancing scientific understanding of gambling behavior and developing evidence-based prevention and treatment methods. This year’s tournament continued that tradition, drawing broad industry participation from across the gaming sector.

“We are grateful again for the many companies and organizations who have supported the Golf Classic and are especially grateful to JCM Global for their amazing leadership since the tournament’s inception,” said Michael Soll, President of the ICRG.
“The funds raised by the event support ICRG’s research and education efforts that will serve to inform legislators, regulators and the media to assure that they make informed decisions regarding responsible gaming.”
Major sponsors of the 2025 event included the American Gaming Association (AGA), the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), and JCM Global, which has played a leading role in organizing the event since it began.

Additional sponsors included Aristocrat Gaming, Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), ICE Barcelona 2026, IGT, Indian Gaming Trade Show & Convention 2026, Konami, Light & Wonder, Patriot Gaming, Red Wagon Institute, Catapult Global, and the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation.
“It’s an honor for JCM to produce the Golf Classic,” said Dave Kubajak, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Operations at JCM. “We’re grateful to the players and sponsors whose support helped us reach this remarkable fundraising milestone."
"What made this year’s event especially meaningful was the broad representation from across our industry – operators, suppliers, independent test labs, land-based, iGaming, race and sports – all coming together to support ICRG and advance responsible gaming research.”
The ICRG uses the funds raised to support a range of research and educational initiatives aimed at understanding gambling-related harm and developing strategies for risk reduction. The organization’s work is used to inform policy discussions and regulatory frameworks in both land-based and digital gaming environments.
