BetMGM and TAPPP launch Canada’s first sportsbook-branded gift cards in Ontario

Payment options provider TAPPP and BetMGM have launched BetMGM gift cards for purchase across Ontario retailers. The sports betting and online casino company becomes the first operator to secure retail distribution for a single-branded gaming gift card in Canada.

The gift card program enables BetMGM players to fund their iGaming and sportsbook accounts via PIN redemption. BetMGM gift cards have registered an industry-leading 99% redemption rate in the United States, the partners noted, where the program first launched.
