Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park, California, has started construction on a major hotel expansion, part of a $1 billion project launched in 2023.
Tribal council members of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria and casino executives marked the groundbreaking with a commemorative photo. Originally launched in 2023, the expansion is scheduled for completion in 2027.
The expansion will feature two new hotel wings that extend from the resort’s existing tower, adding 220 modern guest rooms that match the property's signature upscale design. Additional enhancements include an expanded lobby retail store offering luxury merchandise and a new private VIP entrance to enhance exclusivity and convenience for high-end guests.
A standout element of the expansion is a new adults-only pool area, envisioned as a serene retreat. The pool will include a dedicated bar, a large jacuzzi, and 12 private cabanas — some with exclusive plunge pools. A permanent stage for poolside entertainment is also in the works, designed to create a lively atmosphere for adult visitors.
"The expansion of our luxurious hotel and the addition of an adults-only pool underscore Graton’s dedication to solidifying our position as a premier destination for leisure and entertainment," said Lana Rivera, President at Graton Resort & Casino. “We are thrilled to offer our guests even more reasons to visit and enjoy the unparalleled hospitality Graton is known for."
