iGaming content provider Pragmatic Play has launched the Double Down After Split update across its range of blackjack products. The new addition allows players to split their initial pair and double their bet on one or both resulting hands, offering more strategic options and increased win potential.
Double Down After Split is available on all Pragmatic Play blackjack titles, including classic Blackjack, Speed Blackjack, and Privé Lounge Blackjack.
When players use Double Down After Split with basic strategy, they benefit from a higher return to player (RTP) – up to 99.59% in some variations – as more decision-making opportunities become available to them alongside the chance to boost their winnings, notes the supplier.
Double Down After Split is part of a wider UI update being rolled out across Pragmatic Play's blackjack products. The update includes a sleek new look and feel, a larger video display area, streamlined pre-decision flow for optimised gameplay, and more.
Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said: "At Pragmatic Play, we aim to create player favourites, and Double Down After Split is no exception. Offering more choice and better odds, coupled with a new UI and high-quality dealers and studios, we are proud to deliver a superior blackjack product in the market."
The blackjack update follows Pragmatic Play's release of Wild West Gold Blazing Bounty earlier in the week, the latest addition to its Wild West Gold slot series, expanding its frontier-themed saga with a new 5x5 cluster-pays format and an updated multiplier system.
The game uses cluster pays, where wins are formed by groups of adjacent matching symbols. Wild symbols in the base game appear with random multipliers of 2x, 3x, or 5x. If multiple wild multipliers land in a single win, their values are combined and applied to the total payout.
