SBC Summit Americas 2025 will place a stronger emphasis on safer gambling by officially integrating the Player Protection Symposium into its main conference agenda.

The symposium will take place on May 14 in the Palm Room (Level 2) at the Broward County Convention Center. All registered delegates will have full access without needing a separate ticket or early arrival.

"I think it's clear to everyone that player safety is no longer a side conversation. It should be a central focus for every company operating in our industry," said SBC CEO and Founder Rasmus Sojmark.

"That's why we've integrated the Player Protection Symposium into the main SBC Summit Americas agenda, ensuring it is front and center and fully accessible to all attendees without the need for a separate ticket or early arrival,” he said.

Sojmark noted that embedding it into the core program helps bring these important discussions to a broader audience, expanding opportunities for learning, collaboration, and progress.

The move expands access to crucial insights and best practices, particularly for Latin American stakeholders. While SBC Summit Latinoamérica previously covered player protection in isolated panels, this marks the first time the topic will be featured as a full track, encouraging broader regional collaboration.

The symposium will feature seven in-depth panels, covering topics ranging from affordability checks to underage gambling prevention. Highlights include Financial Risk Checks: An Essential Tool for Player Safety or the Black Market’s New Best Friend?, a panel analyzing the impact of affordability checks on player behavior in North America, featuring experts from EPIC Global Solutions, GBG, Entain, and TransUnion.

Another panel, From Obligation to Opportunity: Driving Success Through Responsible Gambling, will explore how proactive strategies can lead to long-term business success in both LATAM and North America. Speakers include representatives from BetMGM, EPIC Global Solutions, Playtech, The Digital Wellness Center, and the Responsible Online Gaming Association.

The panel Safeguarding the Next Generation: Addressing Underage Gambling Risks will focus on preventing youth gambling in Latin America. It will include voices from Jumio, Loteria de Buenos Aires, IJAN, ALEA, Wplay, and V&I Consultores Legales.

In addition to the symposium, the summit will offer content tracks covering payments, leadership, affiliates, and regulatory updates, giving attendees a broad view of both North and Latin American markets.
