BetMGM announced that Pennsylvania has joined the BetMGM Poker shared player pool, merging with New Jersey and Michigan. Starting on Monday, April 28 at 9 a.m., poker players from the three states can compete on the same platform and will have the opportunity to compete for the largest prize pools in the history of BetMGM Poker.

Angus Nisbet, Vice President of Gaming at BetMGM, stated: “Pennsylvania represents the largest state to join the shared player pool and turbocharges our poker platform.

"This expanded player pool will allow us to deliver more games and bigger tournaments to our players. BetMGM Poker is ready to celebrate the growth of our shared liquidity network throughout the spring and summer in a variety of ways.”

BetMGM Poker has prepared promotions and tournaments to commemorate Pennsylvania joining the shared player pool.

The $0 buy-in/$35,000 GTD C-Note tournament kicks off at 7:05 p.m. EST on April 28. In addition to cash payouts, the winner will receive a $5,000 package to the BetMGM Poker Championship.

Following that, the BetMGM May Millions will run from May 8 to 11 and is set to be the biggest weekend series in BetMGM Poker history. The $1,000,000 GTD series includes 18 events, featuring a $2,500 Super High Roller and a $1,000 Championship with a $400,000 guarantee, along with a freeroll into the BetMGM Poker Championship.

Players who log in to BetMGM Poker daily can spin the wheel for a chance to win tournament tickets worth up to $500. Additional promotions are available through the BetMGM Poker app.

The BetMGM Poker Championship returns to ARIA in Las Vegas from June 30 to July 4. Online qualifiers for the championship take place every Thursday and Sunday at 9:15 p.m. EST through June 22.

Over 100 players from BetMGM Poker markets, including New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ontario, will win Championship packages. Each package includes a $3,500 Championship entry, a five-night stay at ARIA, travel credit, and a BetMGM swag bag

Darren Elias, BetMGM Poker ambassador and record four-time World Poker Tour winner, stated: “It's been amazing being part of the tremendous growth of BetMGM poker throughout the years.

"Adding a large market like Pennsylvania is a huge milestone in continued expansion and provides the opportunity to compete against more players and for larger prize pools. I used to call Pennsylvania home, and it played an important part in my early poker career. I can't wait to log in and get in the mix.”
