Interview: Marina Ostrovtsova, BGaming

The global iGaming and Affiliate industry is set to reunite at the upcoming iGB Live! edition, to take place on July 5-8 at RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands. Among the 250 exhibitors expected at the major event is BGaming, with the online gaming provider ready to showcase some of its latest products and engage in productive conversations with clients and peers.

"iGB Live! has always been one of the most significant and most influential events to find new partners and make a step forward to strengthen contacts with current ones," Marina Ostrovtsova, Executive Director of BGaming, tells Yogonet ahead of the expo. "Offline events are a rare opportunity to build connections that maybe a dozen online calls will never build."

In this exclusive interview, Ostrovtsova explains the company's plans for the event, and the expected impact the expo could have on the company. The executive also reflects on the latest industry trends, which are set to take a central role at the meeting, and details BGaming's plans going forward.

BGaming will participate in iGB Live! in Amsterdam in July. What will the company’s presence at the expo be like, and what should attendees approaching the stand expect?

iGB Live will be our first offline event with a stand this year, and we are thrilled to have a big comfortable place to welcome all the attendees in person. Of course, our guests will be able to meet BGaming’s business and technical teams, as well as our game designers and artists, who will join the show to dive into networking and pick up the latest industry trends. Nothing can replace offline communication, and we are thrilled to share BGaming’s approach, attitude, and unique vibe in person.

BGaming has exclusive offers for operators and affiliates prepared for the event. What do these entail? What more can you tell us in regards to plans for the expo?

During face-to-face communications, we are flexible to discuss exclusive terms, up to 100% discounts in case of quick integration and launch. To cover what we are bringing to the show floor as a content provider, I will highlight the showcase of our new games features, development of brand exclusive and custom games, which proved effective in increasing operators’ GGR, top-rated solutions for crypto gambling, relevant for both crypto and fiat casinos and of course insights of Jackpot campaigns, which the studio launches in Q3 2022.

Another plan for the event is to strengthen our communication with streamers and affiliates who are building a solid brand and community around them. We will be pleased to meet and discuss things at iGB Live!. 

Organizer Clarion Gaming expects a large number of visitors at the event, one of the world’s fastest-growing gaming expos. What kind of conversations with clients and potential partners do you expect from this event? What are the company’s goals in terms of networking?

iGB Live! has always been one of the most significant and most influential events to find new partners and make a step forward to strengthen contacts with current ones. Offline events are a rare opportunity to build connections that maybe a dozen online calls will never build. 

Being a part of the iGaming ecosystem, we also understand the importance of building connections with either well-known or new ambitious content providers. I won’t say that we are competitors, but market partners. And since we all influence the trends, it is essential to respectfully learn from each other and build strong communities to nurture the industry.

We will be presented by a diverse business, tech, and creative team and are ready for any discussions! With more than 4500 operators, suppliers, and affiliates under one roof, these four days of the event are an incredible opportunity to understand the industry trends better and showcase the latest products.

iGB Live! calls the event an opportunity for industry players to be introduced to new niches such as esports, crypto and NFTs. How does BGaming leverage these advancements within its portfolio and how does it stand to assist its partners in these fields? As a pioneer studio in supporting crypto and offering Provably Fair games, what are your expectations of the industry’s further adoption of these technologies? 

Thanks to an expert and agile team, BGaming stands apart with its ability to quickly understand the market needs and help operators capitalize on them. For example, being a front runner in all crypto-related and seeing that the number of crypto gamblers is multiplying, we are eager to push the iGaming industry in this direction and to pass over a successful experience of crypto casinos to fiat ones. 

Our multiplayer crash game Space XY, a headliner of the recently launched set of fast games, shows an incredible growth verifying the hypothesis that the casinos and young players are hungry for new experiences. Given this, by the end of 2022, we will enhance our package of Fast games with at least three new titles: Keno, Limbo, and Mines. 

No doubt, tracking trends and being able to respond to these trends quickly is a competitive advantage. This year, we expect more quality solutions connected with NFT in the market. We see that NFT is gaining momentum and are also working on integrating it into our portfolio. Still, we are researching how to add more value to NFTs than just incorporating digital assets in the slots. We aim to create added value for advanced crypto-projects and provide NFT-owners with innovative options to utilize their NFTs.

Since our last interview with BGaming, the company has now gone live with a new corporate website, launched new titles, and expanded its reach, including a recent partnership with the United Remote platform for the European market. What can you tell us about these latest developments, and what are the company’s priorities, both in terms of portfolio and jurisdictions, at the moment? 

Safe to say that the last 12 months were the most successful for BGaming. Studio tripled its GGR and bets count over the previous year. At the end of 2021, BGaming’s content was presented in 709 online casinos, whereas one year earlier, the list of partners was only 405, which means 75% growth. 

At the beginning of the year, BGaming announced plans to expand its presence in the European region and successfully went forward in this direction. Our recent partnerships with top European operators like United Remote and Platincasino confirm the appeal of BGamings portfolio within the leading local operators. We implemented several significant improvements required by the market regulator to make these partnerships live in the German national domain. These improvements have become beneficial in granting BGaming’s further content distribution to the German region.

Overall we are entering a considerable transformation: getting new licenses, entering new markets, and working on new products and services. To make all the ambitious plans real, we are now focusing on building a solid team and are searching for industry talents to join forces. What other industry events does BGaming plan to attend?

SIGMA Malta will be the next event on our horizon in 2022, and ICE London, if we are talking about the 2023 agenda.
