The company was present at the exhibition, which returned last week after cancellation in 2020 amid Covid restrictions. Besides presenting some of its major attractions and products, Merkur Gaming also re-established and made new connections at the Serbian expo.

Merkur Gaming, the international sales and development brand of German-based adp Gauselmann, presented its latest products as an exhibitor in the Future Gaming Belgrade 2021 trade fair.

The event, a staple for the Serbian gaming community, has run annually since 2007 except in 2020 when it was canceled among Covid-19-related restrictions. Merkur Gaming was present at the now returning exhibition, which ran through Sept. 21-22 at Belgrade Fair. Together with its local partners, the company brought “a strong team and a dazzling product array” to the venue.

One of the major attractions presented by Merkur was the Allegro Trio slant top cabinet, featuring the latest HD multigame technology platform. The Avantgarde Max Duo and its “big brother” Avantgarde Max Trio, both featuring virtually edgeless 31.5” displays and latest multigame collections of fan-favorite games, were also highlights of the expo.

Merkur's mystery jackpot solution The Link Zone also proved popular, according to the company, as did the RTG Ring presentation, shown in the Avantgarde Duo cabinet. But the event also proved a success not only in terms of product exhibiting but for re-establishing and making new connections, says Merkur Gaming.

“It has been a very real pleasure to visit Belgrade again and to see how Belgrade Future Gaming has been a pointer to the gradual re-opening of live B2B events that is starting to take place,” said Merkur Gaming’s Chief Executive, International, Sakis Isaakidis. “Being able to have supplier companies and their customers meet up safely and in-person is great news for the entire industry and is a clear sign that things are at last starting to get better.”

Isaakidis describes Future Gaming Belgrade as an “excellent show” for Merkur Gaming, and said he was delighted with both the show’s presentation and the performance of the team. Moreover, the possibility of meeting with customers was an expected return for the company.

“The country’s gaming venues have been updated considerably and now rank as some of the most attractive venues for those players who rightly demand the highest standards of décor and customer service,” added the CEO when describing the Serbian gaming industry’s progress over the last years. “All through the expo and across Serbia, gaming has a smile on its face once again.”

Strong brand recognition and proven success in Serbia and the Balkan region ensured Merkur Gaming’s exhibition became a success, believes the company. “Future Gaming Belgrade was extremely busy” as customers old and new crowded the booth to see for themselves a “diverse product range” on show.

Money-handling specialists GeWeTe also found success in Belgrade’s event, with the company presenting its bestseller products Cash Center Compact, Cash Center Compact Casino and Cash Center Premium to great customer response.

“Especially with our new debit card solution (ATM function), that can be used in all of our systems, we were able to attract many customers to our solutions,” said GeWeTe CEO Aristidis Tsikouras.
