Oregon’s Seven Feathers Casino closes temporarily to upgrade system infrastructure

The casino resort will close from September 19 until September 24 to upgrade its systems infrastructure and to finalize improvements on its heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system.

The Seven Feathers Casino Resort in Canyonville, Oregon announced that it will close for four days this weekend to upgrade its systems infrastructure and to finalize improvements on its heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system. The four-day closure will begin at 11 p.m. Sunday, September 19, and last until 7 a.m. on September 24.

Spokesperson Susan Ferris said that upgrading the system infrastructure is an ongoing need at the resort: “The air treatment system has established a proven reputation for safety and is effective in neutralizing pathogens, including COVID-19," she said, reports the News-Review.

The resort's general manager Shawn McDaniel, commented: "Our first goal is always to protect and keep safe our on-property guests and staff. The expansion of the air treatment equipment into all our public spaces is a noteworthy step forward in improving public health at the resort."
