The return to face-to-face events, which was being prepared for 20 months by the 3A Producciones team, Meyendorff Producciones and City Group, "could not obtain better results for its participants and organizers," said those responsible after yesterday's closing, in the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center.

"The 500 delegates who were invited by the exhibitors, the national and international unions and associations of operators, quickly understood and complied with the new forms of registration for GAT events and biosafety regulations", said the event organizers in a talk with Yogonet, highlighting that throughout the day it maintained "a restricted capacity and social distancing, set as a condition by the Mayor's Office of Cartagena de Indias to issue the permit that made possible the realization of GAT EXPO 2021", on August 18 and 19.

The second day of the fair began at noon yesterday, during the lunch offered by the organizer and Geek City company for regulators and operator associations, among which were present Alma Itzel De Lira Castillo, General Director of the Secretary of the Interior for Games and Mexico Sweepstakes; and César Valencia, president of Coljuegos in Colombia. Juliana López, Director of Events for Asojuegos; Elizabeth Maya, Executive Director of Cornazar in Colombia and Oscar Paredes, Executive President of AIEJA, were also present.

The conferences regarding betting in the eSports vertical, as a new form of gambling in Latin America, were masterfully led by Angel Beccassino, who began the First World Conference on eSports Gambling after 2:30 p.m., with the participation of the delegate of the Ministry of Sports, José Leonardo Hincapié, who made important announcements regarding the regulation in Colombia, considering eSports as an official sport.

Immediately afterward, the presentations and scheduled panels with the speakers of the day were presented, which left as the main conclusion, the need to continue promoting -  hand in hand with operators and providers - a homogeneous regulation of activity and bets on electronic sports, by the governments in the region, and the next meeting was scheduled to continue advancing this agenda on November 24 and 25, at the Westin Hotel in Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic.

As the academic part and business round between providers of digital transformation and betting on eSports, with localized gaming operators in Colombia and several countries in the region concluded, the exhibition began.

Alexandra Hernández, Marketing Director, and Alejandra Guaqueta, General Producer of the event, were pleased with the results and were highly congratulated by the exhibitors, speakers, and visitors, due to the outstanding work they carried out and the "unbeatable customer service" at the premiere of the turnkey services, with which Gaming and Technology GAT Expo did its presentation in the Latin American industry.

Svetlana Gassel, Marketing Director of SoftGamings, said that its debut “in Latin America has been wonderful, and the organization and calls for GAT were magnificent. We will sign up for their next events,” she assured.

Furthermore, Daniel Arias, Online Director of Betplay, added his “congratulations to GAT Expo 2021”, since “our objectives were met, with the presence of the brand in the reunion of the Latin American gaming and entertainment industry”. Finally, Erick Méndez, LatAm Director of Ezugi, highlighted that the event “was attended by the most important businessmen in Latin America, and we are very happy to have come to Cartagena de Indias. Count on our support for this new turnkey format”, he concluded.
