Aruze names new SVP of Finance and Accounting

Aruze Gaming America said Monday it appointed Simon Burgess in the new role of Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting. In this role, he will lead all core Finance and Accounting functions, including the development of a longer-term financial strategy.

Burgess brings over 25 years of progressive financial planning and analysis, operations, business process improvement, marketing, and business development experience within the gaming and lottery industry to Aruze. He worked at PDS Gaming since 2001, becoming Senior Vice President of Corporate Development in 2013, where he drove the development of the company’s business lines and revenue growth. Prior to his time at PDS Gaming, Burgess held several roles at Shuffle Master.
