The two highest-rated casinos in the United States, according to TripAdvisor reviews, are both in Las Vegas and owned by the same company, Wynn Resorts. The lowest score in the top 50, Harrah's in Council Bluffs, still gets five-star reviews nearly half of the time.
The ranking of the 50 best casinos in the US was based on the proportion of five-star reviews each casino got on TripAdvisor, with data from 360,781 TripAdvisor reviews, reported by Business Insider.
The Wynn in Las Vegas leads the ranking with 75% five-star reviews — 18,874 five-star reviews out of 25,166. The highest-rated casino in the US has 110,000 square feet filled with slot machines and more than 165 table games, and it also has 2,716 rooms. Several TripAdvisor reviews mentioned the "gracious" staff, rooms with "amazing views", and an ambiance of "pure luxury."
Next in the list is Encore at Wynn in Las Vegas, with 74.41% five-star reviews (12,997 out of 17,466). The casino has 850 slot machines and 110 tables games, and the resort has 2,034 suites and a 60,000-square-foot beach club.

In the third position comes Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, with 73.37% five-star reviews — 7,967 out of 10,858. The casino opened in 1999 and has 110 table games and 1,800 gaming machines. It's the tallest building in Mississippi, and has 1,780 rooms with 95 luxury suites. Its name means "beautiful shore," and was reportedly planned for the Bellagio in Las Vegas, but the developer decided the Biloxi waterfront was more fitting.
It is followed in the ranking by WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma: 72.03% five-star reviews, with 5,481 out of 7,609. The casino, which opened in 2004, has 400,000 square feet of gaming space, making it the largest in the US.
The top five is completed by Harrah's in New Orleans, Louisiana, with 70.42% five-star reviews (5,653 five-star reviews out of 8,028). It opened in 1999 and has 105 table games and 1,500 gaming machines. In May 2019, Harrah's won a 30-year extension for its license. It has plans to invest $325 million to build a hotel with 340 rooms, and to give the casino an upgrade.
The Palazzo Las Vegas (70.08% five-star reviews); Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania's only casino in the top 50 (69.84%); Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno (69.65%); Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Airway Heights, Washington (67.8%); and Seven Feathers Hotel in Canyonville, Oregon (67.25%) make up the top ten casinos in the United States.
In the next 40 casinos of the top-50 rankings, Nevada leads with 12 other venues. These include prestigious brands such as The Venetian Resort in the 16th position with 64.63% five-star reviews; The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas appears 20th with 62.62%; it is followed in the list by the Caesars Palace with 62.16% five-star reviews; and the Bellagio comes 31st (58.84%).
New Jersey has two casinos in the ranking, with The Borgata in Atlantic City (53.95%) in the 41th place; and Caesars in Atlantic City coming 49th, with 49.32% five-star reviews. In Florida, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood (52.34%), and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa, are 43th and 45th, respectively.
