The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board imposed a financial penalty on Downs Racing, L.P., operator of Mohegan Sun Pocono Casino in Luzerne County, for intoxicated patron incidents.

The fine was the result of Board approval at its public meeting of a consent agreement between the PGCB's Office of Enforcement Counsel and the casino operator.

The fine stemmed from two incidents in which Mohegan Sun Pocono Casino personnel failed to prevent the serving of alcohol to visibly intoxicated patrons who also participated in gaming activities when visibly intoxicated.

The next meeting of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in the PGCB's Public Hearing Room located on the second floor of the Strawberry Square Complex in Harrisburg.
