The operations of the Australia-listed company casinos in Nepal have undergone a major change as a result of the group’s agreement with former partner Rajendra Bajgain.

"Silver Heritage and Mr. Rajendra Bajgain have mutually agreed that the vision and objective of opening the region’s first Integrated Resort (Tiger Palace at Bhairahawa, Nepal) has now been met, and that the collaboration and partnership between the two parties in Nepal has reached its natural conclusion," the company stated.

Silver Heritage has casinos in both Nepal and Vietnam and opened the first integrated resort in South Asia, the Tiger Palace Bhairahawa in Nepal, close to the Indian border.

The group’s project at the Tiger Palace was undertaken in partnership with Rajendra Bajgain and now he has sold all of his shares in the Silver Heritage subsidiary, SHL Management, that operates the casino at The Millionaire’s Club and Casino in Kathmandu and which also operates the Tiger Palace. His brother, Nabaraj Bajgain, has also sold his shares.

As reported by iNTERGAME, Rajendra now returns to managing Gurkha Encounters, a Nepalese trekking, travel and tourism business.

The Bajgain brothers’ shares have now been bought by Tiger Kathmandu Investment, and it now becomes a minority shareholder in SHL Management Services.
