Oklahoma tribe begins expansion of Indigo Sky Casino
The Oklahoma casino, which offers 1,250 slots and 14 table games alongside off-track betting facilities and bingo, already featured 117 rooms with the seven-story expansion also set to see it add a larger dining room together with improved kitchen facilities.
The Eastern Shawnee Tribe Of Oklahoma also owns and operates Bordertown Casino and Arena in West Seneca as well as the nearby Outpost Casino next to its tribal offices and declared that the expansion will increase the Indigo Sky Casino workforce by 45 to 650 employees.
“There has always been a plan for an expansion to Indigo Sky Casino but it wasn’t until recently that we felt we had no room to grow if we did not start planning for the second tower,” said Glenna Wallace, Chief for the Eastern Shawnee Tribe Of Oklahoma.
One of three federally-recognized Shawnee tribes, the Eastern Shawnee Tribe Of Oklahoma revealed that the expansion of Indigo Sky Casino, which already boasts a trio of food venues as well as two bars and a banquet facility, is expected to be completed next year.
