John Connelly shares expectations for ICE 2016. “Interblock now has the structure in place to penetrate even further and more effectively into markets where we already have a proven track record,” he points out.

What products are you presenting at the upcoming ICE show? Are you debuting any new products specifically designed for the European market?

Interblock will showcase a diverse profile of electronic table games, side bets, enhanced player information displays and functionality at ICE including the revolutionary PULSE ARENA, StarBar, MiniStar String, Diamond Roulette and Multi—hand Card Generators, SicBo Dice generators, Dealer Assist Baccarat and Blackjack tables, and Diamond and Organic Bar Tops.

One of the company’s latest innovations scheduled to be on display was driven by customer feedback: the MiniStar String. This product comprises three play stations that can be placed in a remote location, and allows operators to easily add and connect additional play stations to existing MiniStar Roulette products on their casino floor.

What will be the highlights of this year's edition of the London exhibition? What are your expectations for the show?

The highlight will be the demonstration of our revolutionary PULSE ARENA, which stole the show at last year’s Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. The PULSE ARENA blends the energy of the latest trends in gaming, interactivity, and entertainment to create an exciting new gambling experience for established players, while attracting new players to the casino floor. The PULSE ARENA is comprised of a blend of Interblock products and can be customized to attract any type of player segment, whether it’s a dynamic vibe, tournament functionality, or education for beginning players.

Our expectations for the ICE show are set high. 2015 was a year of building foundations, creating systematic processes, procedures, and infrastructure within the company, establishing key performance indicators, and increasing our investments in R&D and player research. We expect our customers to be excited to see and play the latest enhancements made to our products based on their feedback and player research.

What's your strategy to continue to gain market share in Europe?

Long considered the thought and market leader in electronic table gaming, Interblock now has the structure in place to penetrate even further and more effectively into markets where we already have a proven track record. A primary focus to gain market share is the introduction of a product segmentation strategy, which is designed to allow every casino to place Interblock on their floor and to capture a wider player base — through new, innovative technology to enhance the player experience, as well as a new level of entertainment to the Electronic Table Game (ETG) segment.

What are the strengths of the European market and where do the opportunities lie?

Interblock has more product throughout Europe than any other market in the world. Our products are well received because of their ability to be customized to the operator’s liking along with the relationships we have created with them. We believe our opportunity continues to lie where ETG’s are not present. New and existing players are looking for variety and this aligns with what Interblock has to offer.
