Poker media hub PokerTube has moved to expand its service offering by launching native mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.

Featuring all the video and news content available on the desktop site, the two new apps will also offer users a number of additional features.

Players will have access to exclusive sign-up deals with various online poker operators, while all users that access the mobile app will be able to use the PokerTube social wall.

Jamie Nevin, founder of PokerTube’s parent company 180Vita, said: “While many online poker rooms have spent years developing sophisticated mobile platforms, affiliates in poker - and in the wider igaming space - are yet to produce top quality products in this niche.

“It can be a challenge, as you have to consider complicated elements around mobile tracking, geolocation, and displaying offers specific to different mobile devices. However it is a challenge we are more than capable of rising to with PokerTube.”

In addition to the launch of the new apps, 180Vita has updated the PokerTube desktop site with new features such as a leaderboard and a tournament calendar.

The company has also introduced a new video player page, which will enable poker fans to watch their favourite clips and videos without adverts.
