(UK, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Once again, the UK moves to the international center stage, with the inauguration of a new ICE edition, an event that this year was preceded by a very strong marketing campaign. Under the slogan “Discover”, more than 500 exhibitors will be present in London. After the implementation of its largest marketing campaign ever, ICE prepares to receive executives from five continents, all with the newest equipment and technology for the sector.

“We carried out one of the largest marketing campaign for a gaming trade show ever,” said Jo Mayer, ICE Marketing Director. The event starts today and concludes February 5 at Excel Center in London.

Mayer assured: "2014 was our fifth consecutive year of growth, and it is essential for us to do our best to continue this momentum, to keep on offering a truly international and high-quality audience of buyers to each of the 500 exhibitors present in ICE.”

According to the authorities of the show this year, companies from more than 60 countries will be represented at Excel Center, exceeding three times the numbers achieved last year. “At ICE, the latest novelties in products and services worldwide are discovered. Last year we had visitors from 156 countries, and we surpass to achieve that number at the 2015 edition, pointed Kate Chambers, ICE Portfolio Director.

Yesterday afternoon, Yogonet visited the convention center, noticing that the show offered an impressive framework, similar or even bigger than its 2014 edition, in which international companies made big investments in both structure and products offering.

Germany will be a highlight at ICE

Kate Chambers stressed the German presence this year at the event: “As Germany hasn't had its IMA show for two years, we welcome many gaming professionals from the country in our first year at our new ExCel venue. We are aware of the complex political situation that caused the IMA cancellation this year, and it also shapes ICE as a unique meeting point for the international gaming industry, where we hope to welcome German operators.”

Big associations confirmed

ICE organizers also announced the assistance of the most important commercial associations to the show. A solid list of 26 organizations will be present today as the event opens. The list is comprised by AGEM, AGA, Association of British Bookmakers, Bingo Association, eCogra, Association for the Study of Gambling, European Casino Association, EGBA, ESSA, Gambling Commission, Web Masters Association, Gambling Therapy, GamCare, Gaming Regulators European Forum (GREF), GSA, Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association, IAGA, Interactive Gaming Council (IGC), International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR), IMGL, The International Social Games Association (ISGA), National Casino Industry Forum, National Gaming Academy, RGA, The Responsible Gambling Trust and WLA.

“ICE is the political center of the industry and the flagship event in which the policies defined by the main associations of the industry are debated. We are committed to work together with our partners of the association to assure ICE continues being the center of all the gaming activities and to participate in the process on behalf of the shareholders community,” concluded Chambers.

Bingo, one of the main actors

The bingo sector will have more relevance this year, due to a strategic agreement signed among ICE, the Bingo Association and Bingo Life, the print and digital media channel dedicated to the sector. Their joint presence at the exhibition center will provide a meeting point for the members of the Bingo Association, Bingo Life readers and for the international bingo community in general.

App for cell phones

Once again, Clarion offers ICE visitors an exclusive application of the show for cell phones, through which they can find interactive maps with the displaying each exhibition booth, book meetings inside the facilities and even consult the schedule for the ICE conferences. To download the application, visit Apple App Store” (for Apple devices) or Google Play Store (for Android).
