“G2E 2014 was one of the best so far”

What did you think of the latest G2E LV edition? Did it meet your expectations?
We had a very successful show in Las Vegas, one of the best so far in terms of visitors’ awareness of the Quixant brand, feedback  on the company’s latest products and development of business opportunities. The Quixant team had a busy schedule of high quality meetings during the show, reflecting the interest in adoption of our products and the number of exciting upcoming projects which we have in the pipeline.

Which products did you showcase at G2E LV 2014?
Quixant was showcasing its full range of complete all-in-one gaming platforms at G2E from compact, cost effective solutions for the street market to high end platforms for casino gaming. We demonstrated the QX-50, the first 4K “Ultra HD” gaming platform, for the first time at G2E. We were also able to showcase the new QXi-307 product, which is designed to be well suited to very cost conscious gaming markets. We also had the opportunity to demonstrate Quixant’s new touch screen button deck. The company had four other live demos on the stand, several of which featured Quixant customers’ games.

Visitors of our the stand had the opportunity to meet both commercial and technical staff from Quixant’s team and discuss any technical requirements customers had on upcoming projects. G2E presented an opportunity for customers to engage directly with the engineering team responsible for designing our products.

What is Quixant’s competency in regards to its core business: the design and manufacture of platforms for the gaming industry? Which trends were at the fair in this segment?
Quixant’s capabilities cover a wide range of disciplines, all of which we believe are vital in ensuring we are in a position to design and supply customers with innovative, market leading computer gaming platforms. Our products are designed exclusively for the gaming market and therefore our R&D team and resources are entirely focused on ensuring our platforms are perfectly optimized for this application.

We have a depth of expertise in understanding the unique requirements and dynamics of global gaming markets combined with a multi-disciplined engineering team with a raft of skills including high speed computer electronic design, BIOS development, security, mechanical design, Windows and Linux software development. This range of in- house skills together with our strong strategic partnerships with key suppliers such as AMD enable us to deliver the latest computer technology with cutting edge gaming features, long lifetime supply guarantees, a proven reliability track record and unrivaled levels of customer support.

Our early introduction of 4K graphics technology was also well -received at the show and we are already seeing manufacturers taking steps in this area of innovation for their next generation of machines.

What are the company’s plans for the upcoming months?
Our priority is of course to continue to support customers with new and existing projects which are underway. We are also continuing our aggressive R&D program and are excited about the road map of upcoming product releases.

Quixant will also be visiting the Macau show in November; the EAG International in London, in January and planning our exhibition stand for ICE Totally Gaming.
