(Macao).- A new report informs that Macau generates over some USD 45 billion annually in revenues, which is some seven times more than Las Vegas.

To show the comparisons between the two you just need to see what the average non-VIP gambler spends. In Macao the average single bet by gamblers is US$ 270 in Las Vegas the average bet is just $20.

It comes as no surprise then that in Macao the minimum bet on a table is now $65 and that average is rising each month, in August last year  just 17% of casino tables in Macao had  a minimum bet of $65, and now in September 2014 28% of tables required the minimum bet of $65.

With new casinos coming online in 2015, the stakes will start to rise again in Macao after a decline of fortunes in 2014 due to the fact of zero casino expansions to help  the continued rise of Macao.
