(Belgium).- The Belgium government announced plans to allow two new land-based casinos.

This would increase in the number of land-based casinos in the country from nine to 11. The measure has been decided “to help the country's struggling economy.”

According to the coalition agreement, “the government will review the 1999 Games of Chance Act with the purpose of increasing the number of allowed casinos to 11.”
