(Gibraltar).- Karma Gaming, a developer of next-generation casual games for lotteries worldwide, has agreed to a new content distribution agreement with Odobo. Paul LeBlanc, CEO at Karma Gaming, said, “The Odobo Developer Program offers a modern and sophisticated solution for games distribution. By opting into this program we are significantly expanding the potential reach of our games within the regulated global gaming market.”

Karma is based in Nova Scotia, Canada, and boasts a team with experience in both the real-money and casual gaming universe, including veterans from Spielo. Karma raised a US$ 5 million Series A round of funding in 2013, with backers including the former President of Electronic Arts as well as  the former CTO at Groupon and co-founder of Inktomi.

Karma offers a range of online and mobile iLottery games designed to appeal to players who love multi-levels, virtual achievements, leaderboards and social features combined with real-money wins. Karma’s forte is taking the best elements of casual gaming and combining them with the company’s deep understanding of real-money gambling to create next-generation real-money games.

The team’s vision is to revitalize lottery games for the digital generation by merging the fun of casual games with the excitement of real-money wins. To do this, Karma Gaming pays close attention to the comparable motivations and game play habits of casual and lottery players. This results in the development of its successful Prizeplay, Instant and Instant+ titles that include: Spellbound, El Loot Chador! and Haunted Hotel. Many of these titles include mini-games and achievements for added player value and interaction.

Rob Smith, Legal, Compliance and Business Affairs Manager at Odobo, said, “Karma Gaming’s Prizeplay, Instant and Instant+ games demonstrate the kind of regulated gaming creativity that Odobo is hungry for. As a leading supplier to lotteries around the world, we’re thrilled to have these innovative games coming into the Odobo Marketplace to gain wider distribution via our operators.”

Karma Gaming is the 27th active developer to join the Odobo Developer Program.
