SAGSE participates in G2E as “Latin American Ambassador in Las Vegas”

What did you think of the latest edition of the G2E?
G2E is one of the most important exhibitions in the gaming industry.. All the manufacturers choose this show to officially launch their new products.  This year, we have seen that there is a trend regarding  new construction materials of the casino equipment with focus on eco- awareness, and in the slots field, state-of-the-art technology with curved screens and touch systems has been highlighted.  

What were your main goals at the show? 
The goal was quite high: to be the “Ambassadors of Latin American in Las Vegas”,and we managed to achieved it. Every operator that visited us at the G2E was able to count on  our know-how and  support at our booth”. What's more they were able to enjoy the exclusive benefits that only SAGSE can bring them: VIP access and a networking cocktail event for Latin American businessmen.

How are you preparing for SAGSE Latin America @ Buenos Aires?
As the conclusion of this intense year, the spotlight will shine on  SAGSE Latin America. More than 20,000 invitations have already been sent  worldwide. The exhibiting companies have their booths ready with exclusive designs and a marketing plan to have  more than 7,000 businessmen attend  our traditional show.

Next November 11-  13 in the Costa Salguero Convention Center, the 22nd edition of the most international exhibition in Latin America, the SAGSE, will be held It is the most important event for the Latin American market. International operators and manufacturers attend  our show with the aim of doing business and enjoying a few days in  beautiful Argentine capital of Buenos Aires.

It will also be a year full of exclusive events for the sector, such as the first edition of SAGSE University, JCM training, the Global Gaming Women Event and many more surprises.

How many of them are from Argentina and Latin America and how many from other international markets?
As always, SAGSE is 100% international. We will be welcoming  the major operators from the entire Latin American region. SAGSE is the meeting point for all of them and the beautiful city of Buenos Aires is waiting for them.

How are the agreements signed with Aerolíneas Argentinas, Unique Hotels Collection and Sofitel Buenos Aires operating? Have you any records of the people that chose to use those discounts?
The agreements are working well and there are businessmen that have already chosen those sectors successfully.

One of the novelties this year is SAGSE University. How is the industry responding?
The feedback from the sector was better than we have expected. This event is exclusively by invitation and only sponsors or people with a personal invitation can enter. During the three-day show, 80 Latin American operators will receive training there.

This event will gather the most important international executives from the industry, who, during the three-day event, will receive training applicable to their businesses within the industry. The latest novelties and marketing trends for casinos will be analyzed, as well as problems, resolutions and innovations regarding the players’ behavior within casinos.

With the support of leading companies and a qualified audience (limited to 80 places per course), it is a mandatory event for people seeking an academic update and networking within the gambling sector.

What's more, , SAGSE University will have its Central American and Caribbean edition in May 2015.  SAGSE University is just the beginning of a series of novelties that will revolutionize the sector.

Which is the main challenge for SAGSE this year?
This is a particular year where the most agile companies will lead the way. "Crisis represents opportunity" and many companies have understood that this is a moment for great opportunity. There is something that should never be forgotten: SAGSE is not just a country, it is Latin America, and it is a mandatory event for all regional operators.

We, as  organizers, have the responsibility of continuing to support the companies and the sector that have been with us for so many years, and it is now where  true friends can be found: those that are present in the good times as well as  in the bad . This is a year where the whole industry can go on ahead working together towards and for the future. Not sowing seeds now means not having a harvest, neither in the short term, nor in long . The gaming market is active with an important present and a promising future, and this can be seen very clearly.

A "Certificate of Good Business Health" will be delivered. This concept, which is already part of this sector’s philosophy and culture, means that the attending companies which are annually present at SAGSE, demonstrate that they are in good financial health to face their regional business with professionalism, trust and credibility. The new phenomenon is a united industry, working similarly, and trying to avoid difficulties. SAGSE is the only one that can achieve this. With the entrance of more Argentinian companies from the gaming sector, the international OEMS list becomes complete.

This year, we will notice the presence of the whole sector in the same place: from international and national slot manufacturers, up to carpet, chairs, tables and dice suppliers, security systems, electronic roulettes, iPad Gaming, equipment for the classic games, novelties for online games, etc.; all of them will gather in a relaxed environment, where business is only a part of the meeting.
