(Italy).- ENADA Rome will close later today, having been busier than many had anticipated. Now staged in just one hall at the Italia capital’s exhibition complex, the event got off to a slow start on Wednesday, but the exhibitors’ patience was rewarded yesterday by the large crowds that filled the stands and aisles.

ENADA’s sister show, ENADA Spring, in Rimini, is now the larger of the two and many key exhibitors from the March event are absent this week.

Although there are international names here alongside the larger Italian equipment suppliers and manufacturers, only two of the gaming machine concessionaires, B Plus and NazionaleElettronica, are exhibiting. At ENADA Spring in Rimini earlier this year, the likes of Lottomatica and HBG Gaming took large stands.

On the amusement side, three of the country’s major distributors, Elmac, Tecnoplay and Faro Games, all have impressive stands featuring an array of product from international manufacturers, some of which is being shown in Italy for the first time. However, as one exhibitor explained, fewer other exhibitors means his company is less likely to be overlooked and, because the event has been so well attended, it continues to be worthwhile.
