(US, exclusive Yogonet.com).-Albert Radman, Alfastreet Sales Director, granted an interview to Yogonet.com to discuss the recent G2E event. At this year's show, Alfastreet presented some products for the very first time in the USA. “We are very satisfied with this year's edition of the G2E convention, the visitors responded very well to our products, and we had a really good attendance,” he said.

Were your expectations met at G2E?
Definitely. We are very satisfied with this year's edition of the G2E convention, the visitors responded very well to our products, and we had a really good attendance. This year we presented some products for the very first time in the USA – many of our partners from different parts of the world had not seen the novelties before and it was a great opportunity to get the feedback and discuss our products.

What was your opinion of the show?
Alfastreet has announced partnership with the new distributor, which marks a new direction in the already extensive efforts in the US market. The new R4 4-station Roulette and the WIKY single terminal with the ground breaking 32” touch screen monitor have had a huge impact on the show, confirming the guidelines of our development both on hardware and software. Our evolved user interface and latest edition of our games were immediately recognized as far better than any of our competition.

What was the Vegas show’s highlight?
I couldn't pick out a single determined show highlight, I believe there were many products that were redesigned and optimized for the user experience, equipped with the latest technology as far as monitors, computers and other technical parts are concerned; we saw a lot of new or revisited games and some very clever solutions that are designed to make the gaming experience of tomorrow even more enjoyable. As far as Alfastreet is concerned the stars of our stand were the new 32” monitor single terminal WIKY and the very compact, yet feature packed and powerful R4 Roulette.

What trends did you see? What was the mood like in general?
The exhibitors are trying to incorporate all the latest technology into their products, to provide as many options as possible to the final consumer, but taking great care not to upset the balance between the technical capabilities and the spirit of the game. I am glad to see that the majority is embracing the concepts Alfastreet has introduced from the very beginning, over 20 years ago. The general mood was optimistic, the gambling industry of the US and some other markets that had experienced a little drop in last couple of years are now slowly but steadily regaining momentum and see a much brighter future. One could definitely feel that vibe on the show.

What are your future plans?
We have some very special surprises planned for the near future, the Royal Derby horse racing machine is close to the completion and we are confident it will have a big impact on the gaming community. We have shown the demo video at the G2E and the anticipation was immediately seen on the faces of our visitors. Our other products are being constantly updated and improved to offer brilliant performance to the customers, but we will maintain the pure feel of the game. Alfastreet will retain its leadership position by launching products that will keep setting the standards for quality, innovation and user friendliness.

What was your impression of the industry in the US?
To be honest I believe there is a new wave of optimism for the future, as there have been some rough years, but the industry is picking up the pace, regaining the performance in the domestic market, which was temporarily overshadowed by determined foreign operations. The American producers are among the most powerful in this industry and I don't believe they sustained any harm at all. It is a great moment for Alfastreet, as we are strengthening the efforts on US markets together with the new distributor. The satisfaction is mutual and we are eager to proceed in expanding our presence even further.

How do you think this market will evolve?
Of course it's hard to predict how the future will turn out, but I think the providers will have to adapt even further to the market, diversify the offer and adapt to the specific needs of smaller groups of customers. The same goes for the producers of the equipment which will have to follow these trends. There are enormous differences between gaming habits of people around the world and any company that wants to retain the success has to be flexible enough to satisfy as many as possible.

And what about I-gaming?
I-gaming is a very strong and successful reality, which unfortunately has not have been properly regulated in every part of the world, but it is heading towards that. I believe it must be reckoned with not only by land-based casino operators, but also all equipment producers, as it is highly probable that the two areas will merge even more as they did so far in the near future. Alfastreet and of course many other producers are experimenting with the technologies that enable such operation for quite some time.
