St. Louis casinos see revenue drop in September

(US).- Each of the six St. Louis-area casinos saw their revenue fall last month compared with September 2013, as their combined revenue fell 5.7 percent to USD 77.6 M. That’s according to reports from the Missouri Gaming Commission and the Illinois Gaming Board.

The Casino Queen in East St. Louis saw the largest percentage drop in revenue last month, nearly 13 percent, to US$ 8.4 million. However September revenue at Ameristar St. Charles was nearly flat, falling less than 1 percent to US$ 20.2 million.

Argosy Alton, down 11.5 percent to US$ 4.4 million

Hollywood Casino in Maryland Heights, down 10.5 percent to US$ 16.5 million

Lumiere Place Casino, down 3.6 percent to US$ 11.4 millio

River City Casino, down 2.7 percent to US$ 16.7 million
