The theme of the last training day was focused on “Responsible Gaming.” The opening was in charge of CIBELAE President, Luis Gama; and Executive Director, Néstor Cotignola; who, together with representatives from Brazil and Uruguay, mentioned the services offered by CIBELAE and its Certification Program of Responsible Gaming.
Later, it was held the panel about “Responsible Gaming developed by regulators and operators”, in charge of Henrique Lopes, from Portugal, who made an interesting contribution about the recent creation of the Latin American Scientific Society for gaming studies (SCILAEJ) and Gustavo Pagani, from Uruguay.
The following panel in charge of Gladys Olivia Castrillón Morales, Director of Management Systems of Gestión del Grupo Empresarial en Línea (GELSA) de Colombia; and Miguel Ángel Gómez Rodríguez from ONCE in Spain, who referred to “Business Social Management Model.”
To conclude the day, Mélissa Azam from World Lottery Association (WLA) spoke about the “International Certifications in responsible gambling,” while Paulo Felipe Vivas Aguilera, Executive Director of Human Contract of Colombia talked about the “importance of games of chance in Latin American economies.”
As in every training day, the star providers had their exhibition space. In this occasion, Lía Molinari from GLI Latin America spoke about “Certification processes and online control auditing,” and Manuel del Sol from Novomatic talked about “Casinos and Met’s, present and future situation.”
This way, it concluded the new seminar organized by CIBELAE, which has been working for a year to bring the best services, the best training environments and expand the number of its members. The next meeting will take place in March 2015 in Mar del Plata, Argentina.
